Atlas, also known around here as Crunchwrap, is a big, bright boy with a confident presence and plenty of personality. He was the first puppy born and has been the largest of the litter from the start, with an upright build, a full shaggy ruff, and a distinctive little scar on his nose from those hectic first moments with his new mama. He is observant, clever, and naturally protective. Atlas likes to keep track of what everyone is doing and will plant himself between his person and a sibling who is getting too mouthy. He can be strong willed and deeply focused once he decides something matters, so he will do best with an experienced German Shepherd home that values calm, fair training and gives him a real job for his brain. Under that serious expression is a funny, affectionate puppy who wants to belong. Atlas is now available to the right home, and we are looking for someone who will appreciate his bold heart, sturdy build, and loyal nature.

Atlas has always acted a little older than the rest of the litter. Once the puppies found their feet, he started flopping himself in front of anyone trying to chew on his person's foot, then settling nearby to watch the room. He is a stout, clever boy with a stubborn streak and a lot of confidence. Redirecting him can take patience when he locks onto something, but he responds best to a calm person who is consistent and makes training feel worthwhile. He is not the easiest puppy in the litter and he will not be the right fit for every home. For someone who understands working shepherds, though, Atlas has the makings of an exceptionally loyal companion. He could enjoy scent work, recreational search and rescue, structured hiking, or simply being the dog who takes his role in the family very seriously. We care about him deeply and want his future home to be one that sees both the challenge and the wonderful dog inside him.

Dairy notice
We do not feed yogurt, ice cream, or cheese to puppies under the age of 8 months. They do receive 1% milk while less than a month old, in small amounts blended with their veterinary-approved supplement. Most dogs are lactose intolerant at a threshold, but their dam, Robin, is highly intolerant of any kind of dairy, so be aware her pups may also not be your ice-cream pup-cup gobblers. Do NOT obey the cheese tax! :)

None. This litter is priced to sell; the responsibility falls on the buyer in exchange for a significant reduction in cost. Puppies that age up in our care are vaccinated and spayed or neutered if they are not breeding prospects, and they continue to be socialized and trained for home life.

Eligible after parent DNA testing, but priced as family pets, not breeding prospects. If the buyer wishes to register for breeding purposes, I am fully cooperative in the process at the original listed price point. No breeding fee or spay/neuter contracts for this litter.

This litter has no breeder contract requiring you to return the dog if you need to rehome them, but we are willing to take them back at any life stage should your situation require emergency or urgent homing for any reason and we are able. All returns are final.
